Amtec was established in 2001 and quickly expanded into a multi-disciplined, diversified company that offers the different components required for the completion of a successful and cost effective construction project within the Industrial, mining, water & private industry. projects completed to date have varied between one million rand and up to one hundred million rand.

Amtec has the management, personnel, infrastructure, equipment, and capacity to undertake various classes of construction projects. Our personnel are encouraged to think “out of the box” to provide well engineered solutions to fulfil our client’s requirements. With this in mind, Amtec is structured in a way that enables us to conduct various construction projects simultaneously on different sites. We currently have a staff compliment in excess of 200 employees who are deployed throughout South Africa and can be utilized on the rest of the African continent.

As a CSMPP (Civils, Structural, Mechanical Piping and Plate work) construction company, Amtec has a proven track record working with Anglo American, Glencore, Seriti, Exxaro, DRA Global, Sierra Rutile (Sierra Leone), Mozal Mozambique, Venn and Milford, Aurecon, Sedgman, Andritz and FL Smidth, amongst others. We are known in the industry as a dependable contractor that delivers soundly executed projects on time and within budget.
